NOOSA SPIT RECREATION RESERVE

Public BBQ

Noosa’s picturesque coastline offers an ideal blend of relaxation and outdoor adventure. The scenic beach with safe shallows for kids, relaxing waves, and clear warm waters create a family-friendly environment, great for swimming, surfing, and paddleboarding. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views at Noosa River Mouth or explore hidden spots filled with mangroves along the shoreline. The beach is adjacent to walking tracks and hiking trails, offering both leisurely strolls and adventurous hikes. Various spots for fishing, picnicking, or simply taking in the sunset are scattered throughout the area. Those with dogs will appreciate the leashed areas and designated dog beach. The one recurring challenge cited is parking, which can be particularly difficult during peak times, so an early arrival or alternative transportation might be wise. The absence of lifeguards in some areas requires cautious supervision of swimmers.
